A WCC delegation including general secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit and Rev. Dr Ofelia Ortega, WCC president for the Caribbean and Latin America, visited churches and organizations in Brasil. A highlight of the visit was the repatration of some 7,000 pages of archival documentation related to human rights abuses during the military dictatorship from 1964 - 1985.
