WCC general secretary Rev. Dr Samuel Kobia on 27 January wrote to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in Kerala, India, extending condolences to all the members of the WCC member church on the death of its former catholicos, HH Baselios Marthoma Mathews II.
