Master of Advanced Studies in Ecumenical Studies (MAS) is a degree programme of one academic year for students who already possess a Master’s degree (preferably in Theology) and wish to pursue their ecumenical studies. The programme includes during the first semester - core course on the history of the ecumenical movement - workshop on intercultural biblical studies - workshop on practical ecumenical theology - ecumenical study visits (to places of ecumenical interest such as Rome, Chambésy, Taizé…) - seminar on research methodology - interdisciplinary/intercultural course The programme includes during the second semester - research fellowship in an ecumenical organization/or a research fellowship in a partner institute - research workshop - writing a Master thesis first semester: from mid-September to mid-Februarysecond semester: from mid-February to end of June60 ECTS credits
