Coordinator, International Ecumenical Peace Convocation

Programme Executive - Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation

The World Council of Churches (WCC) looking for a Programme Executive in Jewish-Christian relations to work with a team of colleagues whose primary task is to enable WCC member churches and the wider ecumenical community engage with other religious communities to enhance mutual understanding and peace-building.

With theological and political skill, s/he will know to critically analyse and interpret developments in various faith communities, particularly in Judaism and their impact on inter-religious relations. Working as a team, s/he will collaborate with facilitating the churches’ reflection on Christian self-understanding in the context of religious diversity and with the initiative to accompany churches in situations of conflict.
