Comité Consultivo Mundial de la Sociedad de los Amigos
Fundado en 1937 en respuesta a la necesidad de un lugar donde los amigos de las cuatro tradiciones pudieran relacionarse entre sí, el Comité Consultivo Mundial de la Sociedad de los Amigos (FWCC, por sus siglas en inglés) se compone de reuniones anuales de todo el mundo. Los objetivos del FWCC, que no tiene autoridad ejecutiva sobre las reuniones anuales que lo constituyen, son: promover un mayor entendimiento entre los amigos de diferentes naciones y tradiciones religiosas, y representar a los amigos en organismos mundiales como el Consejo Mundial de Iglesias, la Iglesia Católica y las Naciones Unidas, donde es reconocido como entidad de carácter consultivo general por el Consejo Económico y Social. La oficina del FWCC está en Londres.
El Comité Consultivo Mundial de la Sociedad de los Amigos tiene 103 reuniones anuales miembros, que representan 368.000 cristianos. La Convención Unida de Amigos (28 reuniones anuales) y la Conferencia General de Amigos (14 reuniones anuales) en los Estados Unidos, y la Convención Anual Canadiense de la Sociedad Religiosa de los Amigos son miembros del CMI.
