From 4-9 August 2011, an international ecumenical team visited the churches in Myanmar as a follow-up of the 28 October to 3rd November 2010 Living Letters visit.

The delegation was composed of WCC Central Committee members Bishop Dr Isaac Mar Philoxenos from India and Rev. Rothangliani Chhangte from the USA, as well as of Ms Gloria Kalpona Sarker from Bangladesh. The delegation was staffed by Dr Mathews George, Director of the Commission of the Churches on International Affairs, and Ms Semegnish Asfaw, Coordinator of the solidarity visits.
