The Ecumenical Review explores emerging issues within the ecumenical movement and the potential and reality of Christian cooperation in faith and action.

Founded at the same time as the World Council of Churches in 1948, it is published quarterly. Each issue focuses on a theme of current importance to the movement for Christian unity, including academic as well as practical analysis of significant moments in the quest for closer church fellowship, and action by churches and Christians together, and includes book reviews and significant ecumenical statements and reports.
