A guide designed to assist organizations to meet their responsibilities for safeguarding children, published by the registered charity Keeping Children Safe with contributions by AFOD, Childhope, Child Wise, Consortium for Street Children, Everychild, GCPS, HAP, Islamic Relief, NSPCC, Oxfam, People in Aid, Plan International, Save the Children, SOS Children's Villages, Tearfund, Terre des Hommes, VIVA, War Child Holland, and World Vision, with financial support by The Oak Foundation.

This guide provides an overview of what your organization needs to do to meet "The Standards". It will help create a plan for developing and implementing child safeguarding policies and procedures or help strengthen existing ones. A range of tools and exercises accompany this guide, which cover in more depth how to reach "The Standards" and implement them in your organization.
