I was delighted to learn of your recent election as President of the World Association for Christian Communication. You bring a rich and impressive set of experiences and commitments to this work, not only in your prior responsibilities with WACC but in your academic and pastoral presence as well. We congratulate you—and the members and Board of WACC—on your selection.
I hope that we will meet soon. The work of WACC is so closely aligned to many of the programmatic commitments of the World Council of Churches. And the need has never been greater for a clear and conscientious commitment to open communication as the indispensable for social justice. Let us walk together on that journey of faith!
