The World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Armenian Apostolic Church will host a two-week exhibition on the “Armenian genocide and protests of religion leaders as a manifestation of ecumenical solidarity” opening on Monday 2 September.
The exhibition will display banners and a document on the history of Christians in Armenia and the genocidal events in Ottoman Turkey, which resulted into the killing of one and half a million Armenians between 1915 and 1923.
The exhibition is organized by the Armenia Inter-Church Round Table Foundation.
The display from 2 to 16 September will be open to all within the local and international community in Geneva.
