The World Council of Churches (WCC) staff working in the field of inter-religious dialogue and cooperation welcomed in Geneva representatives of the Roman Catholic Church, continuing the practice of regular annual meetings between staff of the Vatican and the WCC.

In their meetings held from 28 to 29 January at the WCC offices in Geneva and the Ecumenical Institute in Bossey, Switzerland, staff members of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue included Fr Indunil Janakaratne Kodithuwakku Kankanamalage, undersecretary; Msgr Khaled Akasheh; Msgr Chidi Denis Isizoh and Fr Santiago Michael.

The Catholic group working in the area of inter-religious dialogue and cooperation shared their priorities and expressed their hopes of finding ways to collaborate further with the WCC.
