Resources:

  • Seek #JusticeAndPeace in the Holy Land
Half a century has passed since the six-day war when Israel occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights. Despite stalled peace processes and the sufferings entailed by the occupation, people still hope for a better future. Meet 12 people with different backgrounds sharing their hopes for justice and peace in the Holy Land. Help promote #JusticeAndPeace by sharing their stories
  • Exhibition “12 Faces of Hope”
The WCC invites all member churches and ecumenical partners to join the campaign by arranging local “12 Faces of Hope” exhibitions, now available all over the world. Exhibition consists of the 12 framed posters accompanied by texts on the side, tapestries and a booklet. It is possible to select parts of the arrangement, so that the exhibition fits specific needs at local venues. Depending on where the exhibition geographically takes place, the material can either be printed locally in accordance with specifications, or shipped from WCC Communications.

Organizers:

The World Council of Churches invites member churches, faith-based communities, and civil society organizations around the world to join together for a week of prayer for just peace for all in Palestine and Israel. Congregations and individuals around the globe who share the hope of justice shall unite during the week to take peaceful actions, together, to create a common international public witness.
