Churches have always emerged in public places. Now, the digital world extends and pervades our world: Pokemon Go game, augmented reality apps, 3D games and instant messaging. The 22nd European Christian Internet Conference (ECIC22) will look at ways public theology and extended reality can help Christians to give positive nudges to the more and more polarized world.

The ECIC is a European event open to members or representatives of the member churches of the World Council of Churches (WCC), the Conference of European Churches (CEC) or the Roman Catholic Church and to Christian organizations affiliated with these churches. It aims to maintain a network of Christians working with the internet in the ministry of the church and who can act as a resource and support for each other as well as for their own churches.

Keynotes and panels will be livestreamed via the ECIC YouTube channel.
