Water supply and access to water in rural Africa, the human right to water, community-based water initiatives, water and health, conflicts around water, and the role of the churches in relation water-related challenges in Africa will be among the main subjects of discussion at a 21-25 May conference of the Ecumenical Water Network (EWN) in Entebbe, Uganda.

 

An intiative of churches, non-governmental organizations and movements to protect and realize people's access to water around the world, the EWN is supported by the WCC, which offers a home for the EWN secretariat.
