Greetings from the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Forum.

The recent happenings in Egypt submerged some promising news on debates taking place among Quakers in Britain. During a recent meeting, Quakers discussed ways to respond to the call from Palestinian Christians, asking churches worldwide to put pressure on Israel to end its illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.

We urge members of the PIEF network to disseminate this information widely and initiate similar debates among their constituencies with the aim of finding non violent ways that contribute to put an end to the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.
