World Convention of Churches of Christ

In 1930 the "World Convention of Churches of Christ (WCCC)" was held to provide this family with an informal gathering of individuals who would come together in an international convention (meeting every four years) for fellowship and sharing. Those attending a World Convention do not represent their churches in any official capacity, but come as individuals wishing to join other "family members" for fellowship, worship, understanding, and education. There are now more than 170 countries with congregations relating to its 19th century heritage and there is a vast network of links within the family.
